He makes my heart smile,

(but) he makes my smile grin,

they make my heart sparkle from the feeling I get within.

He makes my heart grow,

(and) he makes my wisdom sow,

they make me pray for their lives about things they’ll never know.

He strengthens me from within,

(while) he challenges my limits,

they make me stretch my concept of what forgiveness really is.
